Hi, there.
I'm taylor.

I’m a UX/UI Designer with 10+ years of experience in website design, graphic design, UX writing, and online marketing for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and creatives.

My years in restaurants taught me how to connect with people by building rapport through empathy, creating memorable experiences, and anticipating people's needs. Every conversation is a door to the user's world. Usability tests discover new ways to serve people. And I believe good UX research is the study of humans - one conversation at a time.

Springboard's UX/UI design Bootcamp taught me UX skills and methods. My experiences as a graphic designer taught me intuitive UI. And my years in hospitality taught me how to keep the user at the center of the process, communicate with stakeholders, and create experiences that transcend expectations.

I have my BA in Communication from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a certification in Web Planning and Development from Cornell’s online program, eCornell. I am currently enrolled in Springboard's UX/UI Bootcamp and Codeacademy Front End Engineer Career Path. I am well versed in Adobe Creative Suite, and proficient in Figma and Webflow.

I’m also a Certified Hypnotherapist, but that’s a conversation for another day.
